The waters of Connaught provide swimmers with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant Wild Atlantic Ocean in addition to the many loughs and lakes to be found in the region.

The Aran Islands are temptingly close offering multiple routes of varying distances  and the freshwater lakes of Lough Corrib and Lough Mask offer long distance swimmers plenty of scope.
